Initially I would only want to server transfer my Monk due to cost and the fact that I spend 99% of my current time on this character.

Primary 1: Alchemy (305/800)
Primary 2: Herbalism (793/800)

List any special or rare recipes: Only the mainstream alchemy recipes from Legion.

I changed profs from Engineering/Blacksmithing to Alch/Herb for Legion so am levelling these up slowly.

Raiding Experience
[i]Please list your progression and experience of the following raid instances, and indicate if your experience is LFR, Normal, Heroic, Mythic experience & progression, ie 5/12:

My main through WoD was my DK where I started as a DPS (unholy) and then tanked through BRF.

Highmaul - 6/7 Heroic, 2/7 Mythic
Blackrock Foundry - 10/10 Heroic
Hellfire Citadel - Not raided whilst current content

In MoP my main was my monk where I was main tank in the guild Banana Revolution (on Thunderhorn). We cleared 6/6 HoF heroic, 3/4 ToES heroic, 10/13 ToT heroic and 14/14 SoO heroic.

Do you have any aspirations to become a Raid Leader? And if so, why? Not especially, I don't have time to commit to learning the game in enough detail.

Play Style

What sort play are you looking for? (Delete as appropriate)

Flexible Raider: I will sign to any events I'm able to attend but won't /ragequit if I don't make the group
Backup Raider: I am willing to spot fill when needed, but I understand a place is not guaranteed
Social: Whilst I would like to raid occasionally the social aspect of a guild is fundamental to my enjoyment of the game.

Which of the following days each week are you available? Please see the top post for details of our current raid days.

Monday 21:00 CET until 23.30
Tuesday 21:00 CET until 23.30
Wednesday 21:00 CET until 23.30
Thursday 21:00 CET until 23.30
Friday 21:00 CET until 00:00
Saturday 20:30 CET until 00:00
Sunday 20:30 CET until 23.30

I'm currently available for all of these but would only want to commit a couple of evenings to scheduled content.

Tell us more about why you chose your current spec. (You may wish to tell us a little about your spell/shot/melee rotation & general play style in a raid/dungeon/group situation or link stats websites such as WoL in support of your application).

I was initially drawn to the Monk class as I liked the healing style with the statue and channeled healing with soothing mist. I PvP a reasonable amount too so the mobility was appealing (transcendence and chi torpedo etc). Once I started raiding with the monk my guild soon needed a new main tank which I found quite a challenge. Brewmaster in MoP had a high skill bar to correctly balance mitigation and I found the playstyle rewarding, a good example being the ability to solo tank Malkorok's blood rage phase in SoO. Brewmaster in Legion isn't particularly strong but I'm finding healing to be good fun.

Choose all of the following which best describes what you enjoy, delete those which do NOT apply

- Inguild only group instancing
- PvP
- Challenge mode
- Achievements
- Auction House profiteering

What, in WoW terms, are you the most proud of? *This does not have to be a recognised Blizzard achievement*

My proudest moments in-game have all been guild boss kills. The most challenging was probably Elegon in MV. We had several nights of endless wiping which was incredibly tough going (10-man heroic). When we finally got the kill the elation was immense. This is also true of my first Lich King kill with my original guild. We weren't the strongest players but worked bloody hard to get him down. It took us a few weeks but THAT moment when he dropped was so cool.

My proudest moments outside of the game have been the circle of close friends I've made. I've seen my raid friends get married, have kids, drink too much at a barbecue (repeatedly) and compete in Magic: The Gathering tournaments (I should add, all different friends).

Other Stuff

Do you know an existing member of the Highland Warriors? If so, who: for how long, and how do you know them?
Theola (Paladin) I have known Anna for many years (7 or more?). We are good friends outside the game but met via raiding in WotLK.
Illuminato (Paladin) - I'm also friends with Sean outside of the game and also met via raiding in WotLK

Why do you want to join the Highland Warriors?
My guild in Cata/MoP was Banana Revolution. The guild disbanded when Blizzard removed 10-man heroic content (my saddest moment in WoW). In WoD I tried to find a new home on Veknilash but the guild also folded as people lost interest in raiding. Since then I've been trying to find a good social environment to play in. Whilst I have a good friend in my current guild there is no scope to raid as the guild is hardcore and the team is full. Most dungeon runs are filled with the raid team members as they are working hard to gear each other up. I'd like to move back to Thunderhorn so that I can play with friends again and Anna/Sean have told me the Highland Warriors is a nice environment.

Anything extra you would like to tell us about yourself?
I love motorbikes, have a cat called Yoshi and have recently grown a beard.

I'm going on holiday on 18 October for a week so may not be able to reply to emails etc. until 26 October (depending on internet access by the pool).

Finally, as you should always end on a laugh, tell us your best joke... ;)
A man doesn't know what happiness is until he's married. By then, it's too late.

Hi Boltz,

Thank you for your application. Before i move this along, i would like to know as you put in your post that you would be happy to be a back up raider, how much raiding would that entail from you?

Hi Nightmarish,

I'd be happy to play every week or once a month, it doesn't really bother me that much. However, I would only raid if I was able to keep my gear up to date (as I don't like being a weak link) but I'm hoping I can do this via mythic+ dungeons etc.

Ok thanks for your reply.

I should then let you know that at this present time with our raiding set up we could not offer to take you as a main spec healer in raids even as a back up. In terms of our healing team we are pretty full in terms of numbers even having to turn down existing members for the role.

We could quite happily make room for a WW monk with an OS as healing :-)

Please note that this might not be the case for the future as I am sure you are aware things always change, but currently we couldn't offer you a space in raiding as main spec healing

just to be clear, the healing comment is raiding only. If social, it doesnt matter if you are a healer or not, theres no restriction.

I've been enjoying all three of the monk specs in Legion so if you wanted me to play as WW in the occasional raid then that's no problem. I can happily keep my healing antics to mythic+ and BGs. My WW artifact is a bit behind my healing staff so that would be something to work on.
