watching a mix of House on Haunted Hill and True Detective Season 2.
Waiting for the new American Horror story to come out, which should be soon.

I read all the Shannara books and was interested in the TV show but the snippets I've seen look poorly done so I dont want to tarnish my memory of the books (which I do re-read), so skipped it :)

My current watchlist is...

Elementary - nowhere near as clever as the BBCs Sherlock but I do love Jonny Lee Miller

Current season of The Walking Dead (eight? Nine?) - lost interest during last one with Negan and the Saviours but as I’ve invested so much, thought I’d stick with it. Not bad so far...

Modern Family - Fills the gap friends left. Never gets old

The Good Place - popcorn. Pure popcorn.

Atypical - Netflix original comedy-drama about a teenage kid on the spectrum.

Bake off - cake. Obvs.

Programmes I love and need the next series of now...

Game of Throne - obvious.

Stranger things - same

Dark - really excellent Netflix German sci fi timey wimey show. Subtitles but don’t be put off. Stranger things vibe but different.

Loved the original making a murderer, not sure I have it in me for a return. That plus the first season of True Detective have convinced me what a dark place backwater America is. Not for me.

Brooklyn 99 for Andy Samberg

I recently binged Lucifer on Amazon and loved it.

Also waiting for Game of Thrones :D

The Shannara Chronicles isn't bad. I quite enjoyed it and was glad that they brought out a Second Series.

No making a murderer for you Els? I promise not to give it away this time.

Aha, thanks for the reminder about the 2nd series of Making a Murderer, Dae. Forgot about that!

I could recommend stacks of documentaries if anyone likes true crime? Nothing more hhnngg than a good old serial killer documentary to chill the bones!

Otherwise, I am half through series 2 of Ozark on Netflix - great series, recommend it. Also Dark Tourist was a great watch, a documentary series. I love documentaries basically.

True Detective series 1 was A.MAZE.ING Rust Cohle is one of my new favourite characters ever. House on Haunted Hill too as Wind said, shaping up to be a good creep fest, love me some horror.

Also, will never post in a thread like this and not recommend Six Feet Under - its an old show I guess now but it will never get old with me!! Rewatched so many times. Literally changed my perspective on life and death and is probably the only show or movie that has made me cry like an absolute baby (dat final ever episode ending aaahhhh)

Hey Flo. I love True Crime Documentaries. Bring 'em on!

I've just finished series 1 and 2 of Unforgotten which I highly recommend and I've got River and Seven Seconds on my list to watch next.

Santa Clarita Diet is another good one.

I could list out loads but my favourite resource for documentaries is They have a Crime section, as well as many others. Some great and shocking ones on there, all kinds of true crime not just grisly stuff. I find the ones about drugs really interesting too. Drugs Inc. on Netflix is a great docuseries. Oh yeah, also on Netflix is one I really enjoyed, Shot in The Dark, about the guys in the US who basically drive around all night listening to police scanners for big news stories, rush to the scenes to try and get the first video footage and then sell it to news stations. The series follows 3 competing companies, it was amusing to see them sometimes bust ass to get to some accident scene only to find one of the other guys got there first and has took all the best shots etc. Its grim really, they're selling misery and the news stations are lapping it up. Really good watch though, a few cliff hangers throughout especially where one guy ends up involved in an accident himself whilst waiting to catch footage.

Evil Genius on Netflex, another docuseries about the bank heist in the US where some guy was sent into a bank with a bomb locked around his neck. The police weren't sure if it was fake, if he was in on it etc. He was on the ground surrounded by police, seemed kind of calm then the bomb started loudly beeping like a countdown and he went mental, sort of like he thought it was fake then lost it when he realised he'd been duped maybe. The series looks into the people who did it, masterminded by a completely cold calculating woman, probably borderline personality to the gills. Riveting watch!!

If you haven't seen An Open Secret or even heard of it, highly recommend you check it out if you can stomach the subject matter Exposing Hollywood pedo's, focusing on the founders of the now-defunct Digital Entertainment Network (DEN). One of whom happened to be Bryan Singer, director of the X Men franchise and the recent Freddie Mercury film. The guy is an out and out degenerate piece of filth but it's been covered up for years. This documentary caused shockwaves, a must watch.

...Cot damn, I could go on for ages lol I love documentaries!

I watched Evil Genius. Quite interesting. The staircase is another good one.
