Not your books, just fantasy books in general. Read the Chuck short story I linked - if it doesn't involve someone's insides being ripped out their butt by a pool drain whilst they were whacking off sitting on it, I just can't get into it

Currently reading Midnight Crossroad by Charlaine Harris, Before the Storm by Christine Golden and Bones are Forever by Kathy Reichs. I usually have 2-3 books on the go.

Have you read all the True Blood books? Jesus wept, they got beyond ridiculous!! I finished them just for the sake of completing the story but the last couple were absolute cringe fests lol

I’ve read the first few. I enjoyed the TV series up to the point when the Dionysus appeared.

i would highly reccommend The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern it has magic and is about a bet that is made concidering two at the time children it does start off a little slow to explain things but i just couldnt put it down at all :) dont want to say too much more as dont want to spoil if anyone does want to read it but the writing is so detailed i could picture it all.

Im on book at of The Malazan Book of the Fallen series
Book 1 here - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Gardens-Moon ... ref=sr_1_1
From good characters, involving super powerful gods (who can, and do get killed), and mortals. Theres no overriding good vs evil. Just means to an end with various characters, plots, stories converging (some books apart). The magic is a bit odd to get your head around but its a strong series.
If you like wars, plotting, good old fashion fights, magic, and some gods (but with their limitations) then its a winner.
